Documents
Art. No.
P012
Synonym
rh-Glu-Pls, rh-Fibrinolysin
Molecular Weight
80 kDa
Source
recombinantly produced in insect cells
Purity
> 95% (visually by SDS-PAGE)
Specific Activity
> 25 U/mg Plasmin [Activity is determined by measuring the rate of hydrolysis of chromogenic peptide substrate N-Tosylglycyl-L-prolyl-L-lysine 4-nitroanilide at 37°C].
Appearance
White lyophilized solid.
Reagents
Recombinant human Glu-Plasmin is lyophilized from acetic acid water pH 3.7.
Reconstitution
Add the volume of water specified in the certificate of analysis under aliquotation to the vial of lyophilized powder. Rotate vial gently until solid dissolves. After reconstitution the solution is stable for 4 h on ice. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Application
Coagulation research, medical research, protein-structure, sequence analysis, and biochemical research.
Storage
Store at -80°C. If storage at -80°C is not possible, storage at ≤ -20°C is recommended. While no formal stability data are available at -20°C, according to our overall experience stability is still given.
Delivery at ambient temperature is possible
Note
Intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications.
